Spectacular Season Starting June 6th at the Black Hills Playhouse


Beginning on Thursday, June 6th the Black Hills Playhouse starts playing to audiences as the 2013 Season begins!   New and returning theatre professionals from across the country are set to wow audiences with incredible wit, passion, and talent for the 68th season in Custer State Park.

Boeing Boeing is a witty farce about a man with three fiancés. It lands at the playhouse on Thursday, June 6th and runs through Sunday, June 16th. Fasten your seatbelts for this hilarious hit landing soon!

Tuesdays with Morrie is based on the critically acclaimed novel about a college professor and a student from his past. This emotional masterpiece opens June 20th and closes on June 30th.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is a hilarious musical full of mistaken identity, lust, and deception. A servant is desperate for his freedom and will resort to anything to get it. Come watch this riotous drama from July 4th until July 21st.

Children of Eden is an enchanting musical coming to the Black Hills Playhouse stage from July 24th through August 4th. The stories of Adam and Eve and Noah’s Arc are spun into a beautiful medley of songs written by Steven Schwartz.

Hound of the Baskervilles is a hilarious twist on the classic Sherlock Holmes tale of murder mystery. This uproariously funny retelling starts on August 7th and ends on August 18th.
