Paranormal Investigation Tours of the Historic Adams House

Deadwood, S.D. – Deadwood History, Inc. and Black Hills Paranormal Investigations (BHPI) will host Paranormal Investigation Tours of the Historic Adams House on October 14 and 15, and October 21 and 22, 2016, at the historic home located at 22 Van Buren Street, Deadwood.  Visitors will participate in a real paranormal investigation with professional paranormal researchers.  Tours are offered at 6:00, 7:30, 9:00, and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 for members, $35 for non-members and the price includes a t-shirt. You must be at least 12 years old to participate.  Ages 12 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Psychic readings with Melissa Teel-Hartman will be available following each tour in the gentlemen’s smoking room for $20 per person.  Must be an adult to participate and limited to eight people per session.  Reservations are required; please call 605-578-3724.

Learn the history behind the darker stories associated with the Adams House on an exclusive 90 minute paranormal investigation of one of Deadwood’s most haunted sites.  Participants will search for paranormal activity using night vision cameras, full spectrum cameras, a binoptic anomaly camera, parascopes, digital audio recorders, EMF meters, and the SB-7 Spirit Box.  The BHPI team will discuss documenting and analyzing the results of possible paranormal phenomena during the investigation and explain the findings from their recent investigation of the Adams House.

Black Hills Paranormal Investigations conduct investigations in South Dakota, Eastern Wyoming, Northwest Nebraska, and Southwest Montana. BHPI is dedicated to the study of paranormal phenomena. The group uses scientific methods, systematic processes, skepticism, and logical thinking for data collection and analysis. BHPI does not enter an investigation looking to prove paranormal activity or a haunting is taking place, they simply allow the evidence to tell the story.

Melissa Teel-Hartman is the owner of Heart+Soul Healing Arts in Spearfish, South Dakota.  She is a licensed Desire Map Workshop facilitator, Spiritual Soul/Life Coach, Angel Card Reader, and certified Reiki Practitioner.  Teel-Hartman has been providing public and private readings, as well as private coaching since 2013.  She will be performing her readings in the gentlemen’s smoking room in the turret – this area of the home is not typically available to the public.

The event is co-sponsored by the Deadwood Historic Preservation Commission, Deadwood History, Adams-Mastrovich Family Foundation, Duhamel Broadcasting Enterprises, Deadwood Chamber of Commerce, Black Hills Pioneer, KEVN Black Hills Fox, Black Hills Paranormal Investigations, and Melissa Teel-Hartman.
